Living in Michigan, I've come to expect the weather to be different from day to day. Last week, there was ice in the bird bath, this week, it got to 80. There always seems to be that one week in October that is absolutely beautiful.
The colors have been changing fast in the north and probably already past peak. I think I did at least 40 bags of leaves and I won't be nearly done until next month. No more fishing from now on, but lots of playing in the leaves. Still it was a glorious weekend.
I was an idiot and didn't bring my decent camera so they could be clearer, but I'll let my area of heaven speak for itself.
These pictures were taken with an old Fuji point and shoot that shoots when it feels like it.
