My first attempts at macro photography. I just got the extension tubes last week. I learned a bit doing this and had fun.
The first two are of a crystal candy bowl with chocolate mini eggs inside. I lit from underneath to bring out the colors of the eggs.
The second two are of a simple kitchen scrubbing sponge. It was yellow and just looked dirty until I changed colors. The other one I changed to B&W and smudged the background a bit to look a little more like steam rising.
The dragon is a small desk decoration I've had for years. I applied a lens flare to the crystal. Slightly out of focus and over exposed, but I thought I'd toss it in anyway.
The last is another desk decoration, lit from underneath again to show more on the inside.
Edited to add two more, then I can put away macro stuff for a while.
First is a close up shot of a circuit from an old hard drive, and the next is the same shot with glowing edges applied.
Critiques are welcome.
